Foster & Volunteer application

We’re so excited you’ve decided to foster or volunteer! By opening your home to foster you enable us to save more cats and kittens. By volunteering at once of our adoption locations, you help the cats and kittens in the condos have a pleasant and clean experience.

We ask a lot of questions, so take your time and answer them throughly. If you’re unsure about something, there’s a place at the bottom of the application for comments and questions, or send us an email, but go ahead and finish your application.

We want to learn about you and what you’d like to do to help the cats and kittens. From fostering older cats for seniors, to learning how to bottlefeed tiny kittens, to being a transporter to pick up cats and kittens from shelters or take them to veterinarian appointments, or to join us doing adoption events and fundraisers — We’re a family of volunteers and we can’t wait for you to join us! Allow us up to three days to review your application, start checking your references, and get in touch with you.

Foster & volunteer requirements

To be considered for fostering or volunteering:

  • Be at least 16 years old with parental consent, or 21 years old and have reliable transportation and automotive insurance. We cover the expenses for our fostered cats and kittens.
  • If you rent, get your landlord’s consent or check your lease to make sure you can foster a cat and/or kittens. A pet deposit is expensive, so pay it before you commit to fostering. We verify so you don’t get fined or evicted.
  • If you can’t foster, don’t despair! We have plenty of opportunities for volunteering and spending time with our many cats and kittens.
  • We’ll need to see a current form of ID showing your present home address, such as a driver’s license or utility bill. So have those with you when we do your interview.
  • Please dress for your interview, wear attire representative of how you would dress if you were meeting an adoptive family for a meet-and-greet. You know what they say about those first impressions.
